PH value in food.
A proper pH balance in your body is extremely important for your health and overall resistance to diseases. To maintain a proper pH balance you should really try to include a sufficient level (60%-80%) of alkaline food in your diet – for example fresh vegetables and fruit. They contain important minerals such as magnesium, calcium and potassium which help avoid your internal system becoming ‘too acid’. An overly ‘acid’ internal system can lead to a wide variety of health problems such as stomach ulcers, arthritis, kidney and blather problems, diabetes, osteoporosis, excessive growth of fungicide, cardiovascular diseases, cancer and obesity.
Examples of foods that typically acidize your body are sugar, meat, lactose products, eggs, fat and the majority of grains (except millet seed, quinoa and amaranth). Some of the ‘better’ acidized foods are whole rice, seeds, lentils, oat and fish.
To maintain the best health possible, your diet should typically consist of 60% alkaline food and 40% ‘acid’ food. However to restore health, after a period of sickness for instance, it’s best to use 80% alkaline and 20% acid foods.
